IDK HOW - FOUR ME (EP) KARAN AUJLA
It was always a pleasure working with Qarn Mallhi and Mani Mallhi on some unique ideas. Qarn was in Mumbai when we received the call for this music video concept, and our team at Skypeace started working from that very day
The song "IDK How" is the first track of the EP "Four Me" by Karan Aujla. Qarn envisioned a unique and colorful look for the video, with a touch of Korean vibes. With both the Skypeace and Brownwest Media teams based in Vancouver, we decided to build every single set from scratch.
We hired Jatinder Sidhu from Emjay Woodworks, a talented individual who brought our ideas to life. The Orange Puzzle set, which you can now see in the official video, took a long time to build but turned out beautifully. Set designers Raman and Gurkirat took on the challenge and made the set pop.
Our production assistants, Sukhpal and Bharat, ensured that everything on set ran smoothly, from food to permits and security. Daman and Isabella did a fantastic job with makeup for Tanu Garewal and the dancers. Jasmine, the stylist, perfectly captured the vibe and styled Karan and Tanu as the video demanded. Ramneek Kaur made sure the dancers seamlessly blended with all the setups in the video.
Our talented DOP, Sven, and his assistant Marcus took care of every aspect of lighting and camera work. The whole team did their best to bring Qarn's dream to reality and make this music video possible, no matter where we are in the world.
In the end, I just want to thank Qarn and Mani for trusting Skypeace with this project. Stay tuned for many more to come!
